EPA Disapproves Oregon Water Quality Standards; Clears Way For Higher Fish Consumption Rate

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on June 1 disapproved Oregon’s New and Revised Human Health Water Quality Criteria for Toxics, clearing the way for Oregon to continue the rulemaking process whereby the “Fish Consumption Rate” will be increased to the highest levels in the United States.
