COMMISSIONER: REC BUREAU CAN’T SUPPORT WALLOWA DAM BILL

The Bush administration opposes a bill that would fund the repair of
Wallowa Lake Dam, enhance water management and help restore salmon in
eastern Oregon, the head of the Bureau of Reclamation told a
congressional panel on Wednesday.
