Ken McDonald, Montana’s bull trout recovery coordinator, has had his
hands in two processes over the last year: developing a state bull trout
recovery plan as well as a federal one.
It’s been a tricky task. The Montana plan, which was released in draft
form last November, must ultimately comply with the federal plan, which
is still in its formative stages of development.
