8. STUDY: DAMS SHOW BIGGEST IMPACT ON WATER TEMPS

Dams, not in-flows from tributary streams, have the biggest impact on
water temperatures in the Columbia/Snake river mainstem, according to preliminary
study results previewed Thursday in Portland.
