A task force met this week to decide how to advise NOAA Fisheries on the “moral dilemma” of euthanizing and hazing the protected California sea lions for another six years at Bonneville Dam in order to protect the spring run of chinook salmon, also protected, that the sea lions are eating in record numbers this year.
