OREGON SELLS $27.7 MILLION IN BONDS FOR CHANNEL DEEPENING

Oregon State Treasurer Randall Edwards announced this week that the Oregon State Treasury sold $27.7 million in lottery-backed revenue bonds today to provide the full amount of matching funds required under the project cooperation agreement between Oregon, Washington and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to deepen the Columbia River navigation channel from 40 to 43 feet.
