6. ODFW GETS NEW WILDLIFE DIRECTOR

Richard L. Berry, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Freshwater
Management Program Director, has been appointed ODFW’s new Wildlife Division
chief.

Berry, 52, began his career with the agency in 1968 as a fish biologist
in Newport. Since then, he has held a number of positions with ODFW, including:
coordinating Columbia River fish enhancement efforts, directing the salmon/trout
enhancement program, and directing the fish propagation program.
