The state of Montana has agreed to sign the Memorandum of Agreement
that would establish a Columbia River Basin Forum, a proposal that arose
from the "Three Sovereigns" process.
Federal, state and tribal parties will meet Friday (Jan. 29) to determine
how many of them are willing to sign the MOA, and whether the effort should
continue or be abandoned.
