The Technical Management Team (TMT) approved steady summer flows from Libby Dam on the Kootenai River that initially meet the needs of the State of Montana.
The operation proposed by TMT salmon managers provides stable summer flows through August that will benefit recreation and threatened bull trout, while also providing some flow augmentation for salmon in the lower Columbia River.
