NOAA Fisheries and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife have developed a prioritized list of West Coast chinook salmon stocks that are important to the recovery of endangered Southern Resident killer whales. Several of these chinook salmon stocks are also themselves listed under the Endangered Species Act.
